This policy explains how Pestify processes personal data on pestify.gr and the Pestify application.

This Privacy Policy is provided by Christos Pamporis (PEST FREE), a sole proprietorship of Christos Pamporis in Greece ('we'). It describes how we process personal data in connection with the pestify.gr website and the app.pestify.gr platform.

This distinction is essential and precedes all other information.
We act as the Data Controller only for: (a) data you submit on pestify.gr (contact form and demo request); (b) account, billing and contact data relating to our subscribing businesses and their representatives; and (c) technical security data of the platform.
We act as the Data Processor for all data entered into the platform by each subscribing business, including customer records, locations, service history, photographs and technician details. The business itself, rather than us, is the Data Controller for that data. We process it solely on its instructions and only to operate the service.
Are you a customer of a pest control business looking for your own data? Contact the business serving you. It decides what information it keeps about you and for how long. We provide the technical platform and cannot address the substance of your request.
This Policy covers the pestify.gr website (information pages, contact form and demo requests) and the app.pestify.gr platform, including its mobile applications.
The login button on pestify.gr redirects to app.pestify.gr; no authentication takes place on the informational website.
What we collect. Only what you voluntarily submit: name, email, business name, team size and message through the contact form; name and email when booking a demo through Calendly.
Why. To respond to your request and schedule the demo.
Legal basis. Steps taken at your request before entering into a contract and our legitimate interest in responding to business inquiries.
How long we keep it. For as long as needed to respond to and follow up on the inquiry, after which we delete it unless the law requires longer retention.
What we do not do. We do not sell data. We do not use it for advertising, retargeting or profiling. We do not subscribe anyone to newsletters without express consent. No transactions take place on the website.
Calendly. If you book a demo through Calendly, that company also processes your booking details and acts as an independent controller for some activities. We recommend reading its own privacy policy.
We do not process payment data. No transactions take place through the platform.
When a pest control business enters personal data into the platform, such as homeowners' names, that business is the Data Controller and Christos Pamporis (PEST FREE) is the Data Processor.
Individuals should direct requests concerning their data to that business. If such a request reaches us, we do not respond to its substance; we forward it to the business within five business days and provide the technical assistance it needs.
For the operation of our subscribers' accounts, processing is based on the performance of our contract with them.
For data entered by subscribers, we do not rely on our own legal basis: we act on their instructions and they, as controllers, determine the legal basis.
Platform data is retained for the duration of the relationship with the subscribing business. After that relationship ends, the data remains available for retrieval for thirty (30) days and is then permanently deleted, including from backups, unless the law requires retention.

Papaki and Calendly relate only to the informational website and demo bookings. They do not have access to platform data.
We do not sell, rent or trade personal data. We do not use it to train artificial intelligence systems.
Platform data is stored within the European Economic Area.
However, the hosting provider is a company established in the United States, and its personnel may remotely access data for technical support, maintenance and security. This access is covered by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses incorporated into our agreement with the provider, and is accompanied by limits to the minimum necessary access and activity logging.
The pestify.gr website does not use analytics or advertising cookies. If these are ever enabled, we will request your consent where required and update this Policy.
The platform uses strictly necessary cookies for secure login and session management.
Depending on the circumstances, you may request access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing or data portability, object to processing, or withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
Where to send your request: manager@pestify.gr for matters concerning the website or your subscriber account. For data held about you by a pest control business, contact that business (see section 1).
